2019 – Where the Wind Blows

The weather here can be wonderfully mercurial: one minute the sun can be shining on a calm day and the next, there re sudden squalls of rain, the wind is blowing, chasing the shadows and making the clouds rush across the sky.

It is a breathtakingly wild beauty.

In this series I’ve painted in a more expressive way: conveying the feeling of the wind-whipped mountains by using bold marks, glazes and lots of texture.
