This has been a year for reflection, readjustment and finding my way back out into the wonderful, wild, Welsh landscape; for finding balance in all the things I love to do, and making sure I make the time for walking and really ‘being’ in the landscape I love.

The feelings of delight at being able to be out in the landscape again, and the joy this brings, has brought a brighter palette to the fore, and a use of marks that evoke the joyous sounds and feelings of the mountains, moorlands and sea: the skylark’s song; the stonchat’s chat; the ever-soughing wind, and the crashing waves.
