And that’s a wrap.

So @tywi_valley_open_studios 2022, and my first open studios event, is over for this year.

It’s been so lovely to welcome so many people to the studio, to share laughter over the collaborative canvas, and wave farewell to many pieces as they found their new homes.

Thank you to everyone who came to visit, and to the team who did all the work behind the scenes organising the whole event, making sure we had signs, leaflets and maps.

Already looking forward to next year.

Right: I’d better go and have a look at that collaborative canvas and see what jumps out at me!! Wish me luck! 😉

More artists at work on the ‘masterpiece’ today.

Watching this brother and sister working on the collaborative canvas today was such a delight and so incredibly joyful- it absolutely made my day. 🥰🥰

@tywi_valley_open_studios continues tomorrow, but PLEASE NOTE, whilst my studio is open for visitors, I won’t be there, so my lovely hubby will be ‘manning the fort’.

There’ll still be cookies, cold drinks and a@collaborative canvas waiting for you.

I am loving watching how the canvas is changing and developing as each new visitor adds to it: it’s constantly evolving, and just when I think I might know how it’s going to go…. nope! Someone else does something completely unexpected. Fantastic.

This little snippet is @meg_jamieson adding her intuitive marks to the painting on her visit, after recently graduating with an excellent art degree. It was so lovely to chat to her about how she’s planning to use art in her career. So exciting.
