Commissions
Would you like a painting done just for you?
I have undertaken a number of commissions and it has always been a complete pleasure. I’m so pleased to be able to say, that all of the paintings have been met with delight, and being able to create art that makes a special connection to bring joy for years to come, is something very precious indeed.
A commission starts with a good chat, getting to know each other, finding out all about what people really want, and this year, we have even used Zoom for our face-to-face meetings, so we’ve all been safe during the pandemic.
If you have a particular landscape in mind, I’ll visit to take photographs and make sketches to make sure I’m creating what you want. Throughout the process I send images of the painting progressing, and this year, have had virtual meetings to show ‘work in progress’ so that you can have input on the creative process… unless of course you’d like a surprise!
Please feel free to get in touch to discuss a commission with no obligation.

“We met Bron at an art fair where we saw two landscapes we really liked; they were the wrong dimensions for our needs so we asked if she could do a bespoke version for us. Bron was really keen to understand what we liked about that style, so although our piece would be original, it would have the same essence.
Bron was fantastic to work with; she told us exactly what to expect and checked in regularly. We are both quite fussy in different ways, but Bron brilliantly combined our feedback with her own artistry to deliver something really great. We love art but we’re certainly not experts, so to have someone guide us through their process whilst being so accommodating was absolutely ideal.
We’ll be keeping an eye out for what Bron does next. Our painting has pride of place above the mantelpiece and we wouldn’t think twice about working with Bron again.”
“We wanted a special painting for the hall of our new house and soon realised that we were going to struggle to find what we wanted. A lucky meeting with Bron led us to commissioning her with the slightly oddball brief of capturing the view from our house but in such a way that it didn’t too obviously look like the view. Luckily Bron “got” exactly what we meant and spent a good chunk of time exploring this further with us. She came and did rough sketches and was bombarded with our photos as well!
Bron then sent us drafts throughout the process and when we saw the finished product we were SO delighted. The picture, entitled Y Dderwen Bell (The Far Oak) is perfect; it’s been with us for 9 months and we still see new aspects in it all the time. It’s been much admired too, by the few visitors we’ve had this year!
Bron is such a talented artist and she’s a lovely empathetic person as well. We never felt that this was just a job for her, she really put something of herself into the painting. Contemplating getting some more of her work at some point.“
