Lamp shades

Lampshades are a very personal choice and often the thing that makes your room unique and individual. They add the accent, the flash of colour or imagery that makes your room your own. The lampshades here are examples of what Bron can create: why not have your own unique bespoke design created just for you. Bron can create the design you want and in any colour-way. A one and only, that you won’t see anywhere else.

All the lampshade designs are available in a variety of shapes: ‘Drum‘, ‘Oval‘ and ‘Square‘; in a range of sizes, from 15cm to 40cm diameters, and as pendant (ceiling) lights or for lamp stands. These can be seen in the product details. The lampshades are made to order, so please allow three weeks for delivery.

Bron creates all designs on paper before hand-painting directly onto calico. This is ‘fixed’ by ironing before being mounted on the fire resistant PVC backing, and then on to the lamp shade frame. All materials comply with BS EN 60598-1-2008, the British Standard for Luminaries. The PVC based backing ensures the lampshades are fire resistant. It has been tested in the Lighting Association Laboratories and has passed the glow wire test. Make sure you choose the correct bulb wattage with the lamps or use low-energy bulbs: they use less energy and are cool to the touch, avoiding the problem of scorching shades.
