From the collection: ‘Where the wind blows’.
As the tide ebbs, it sculpts the sands: ripple marks are carved along the beach; pools of crystal water collect in the hollows; light is reflected on the wet sand, and verdant green seaweed accents the rocks.
I love the textures and patterns of beaches, and have tried to evoke them using lots of different marks, even carving in to the paint to create that wonderful feel of the sand between your toes.
