Description

Part of the ‘Where the wind blows’ collection.

The Welsh Fans (pronounced ‘vans’) form part of the Brecon Beacons but are frequently overlooked for their exceptional beauty. Even when the winter winds are blowing the clouds across the landscape, and sudden squalls of rain and snow come from nowhere, they are breathtaking in their wild beauty.

I’ve used acrylic and oil paints to create textured layers and marks to evoke the wild and lonely feel of this beautiful area.
