On recent camping holiday in Pembrokeshire, I could see the sunset was going to be a good one. I grabbed my paints, an easel and canvas boards and walked along the coast path to one of my favourite views. I sat looking west along the coast towards Ramsey Island, and as the sun began to sink, the coast became silhouetted and the sea looked like mercury. I had to work fast as the light changed continuously, and so did the colours. I was all alone on the path with the seabirds in the golden light: it truly fed my soul.
