Description

Part of the ‘Tranquility in the wilderness’ collection.

Hiraeth (pronounced here-eye-th) is a wonderful Welsh word describing that feeling of belonging, of being where you feel rooted and at home. This view looking across Whitesands Bay towards St David’s Head fills me with Hiraeth. The wonderful rugged outcrop of Carn Llidi sits behind the beach where the waves crash in from the west. The bracken turns the cliffs red and contrasts so beautifully with the colours of the sea and sand. Hiraeth indeed.
