Description
The Brecon Beacons in the autumn are stunning, and this painting of the ‘Sugarloaf’ was inspired when walking there last year. The bracken had all turned to a glorious russet-brown; the leaves were turning green to browns, and the heathers were so rich a colour, they appeared almost red in the distance. It was an amazing colour palette, almost surreal, but I really enjoyed painting it, using a medium to add texture to the image.
