2018 – Tranquility

I’m naturally drawn to colour: I love the way the natural world can create a palette so vibrant it can stop you in your tracks: it could be a dark stormy day when the sun breaks through the clouds; a sunrise or a sunset, or even a misty rainy day that makes everything mysterious.

In this series I enjoyed using intense pigments and gold leaf to express the beauty and the light in the landscapes.
